Supported slicers
OpenFilament creates a filament preset file. You download it and import it into your slicer. OpenFilament does not install software or change local slicer folders.
Preset vs spool identity
The slicer filament preset configures temperatures and extrusion. CFS/AMS/RFID identify or map the physical spool. Sliced G-code is what the printer runs. They may refer to the same OpenFilament record but they are not the same file.
How to load the profile in your slicer
OpenFilament downloads a user filament preset file. Your slicer does not receive it automatically; import the file once and then select the new filament preset in your project.
- Open Creality Print / OrcaSlicer / PrusaSlicer / Bambu Studio.
- Import the downloaded user preset.
- Select your printer and nozzle.
- Select the imported filament.
- Map it to your CFS/AMS slot if applicable.

Canonical interchange for backups, portability, integrations and developers. It is not a slicer preset and cannot be printed from directly.
